Oct. 10th and 11th, 2017 - NeSSIE partners met in Oviedo (Spain) to discuss the next phase of the project that aims to commercialise corrosion solutions and materials from the oil and gas value chain in offshore renewables.
The NeSSIE project partners met on Tuesday October 10th in Oviedo (Spain) for the latest project meeting. The meeting was kindly hosted by project partners FAEN (Fundación Asturiana de la Energía).
Key aspects of the day’s agenda included sharing the first outputs in the project and discussing the plan for preparing the next deliverables.
The following day, October 11th, a NeSSIE project update was presented at the ADMA Advanced Manufacturing for Energy Related Applications in Harsh Environment work group meeting (of the Vanguard Initiative), also hosted by FAEN (Fundación Asturiana de la Energía).
The meeting, chaired by Charles Abbott, Scottish Enterprise and Cristina Oyon, Basque Country – SPRI, was opened by the welcome and introduction by Melania Alvarez García, Presidency of Asturias, Eva Pando Iglesias, IDEPA and Juan Carlos Aguilera, Director of FAEN.
